As I've been playing Mafia Wars, I have come to notice a LOT of people looking for concealable cameras.  I was not sure why at first; I was able to get plenty just by doing the Rob an Electronics Store job in the enforcer tier.  Well, a friend mentioned to me that you need a boatload of these little suckers when you get to hitman tier.

One tip I read on how to get enough of the concealable camera is to just create new facebook accounts and play mafia wars on them.  I don't know how ethical this is, but it does make sense.  I have actually not tried that though, because the Mafia Wars Blueprint outlines a lot of legal, clever strategies for getting concealable cameras  and rare loot items.  Makes it simpler, too, and leaves you less open for getting penalized by facebook.

Anyway, I found the best and most efficient way to get cameras was to do the Arrange a Drug Shipment for the Mafiya job in Episode 2.  You get a lot of concealable cameras this way and it doesn't cost too much energy to repeat this job.  There's always the old standby to Rob an Electronics store, but that one gets tiring and sucks up energy fast.  It also doesn't award very much experience and therefore isn't great for helping you level up.  They also have a low drop rate (33%), so this isn't a reliable method.

Remember that you will need cameras to advance to the Boss level, so start acquiring them early on and you will struggle less when you get to higher job tiers.

Mafia Wars is a huge, social game. There are so many different types of playing styles and so many successful players that it almost seems impossible to become one of those players who can knock off his or her opponents with practiced skill and accrue money and items in barely any time at all. Getting rare items and collectibles in this game is tough, but if you go at with strategy and tactics, you can easily start acquiring items for the heart flush collection, like the ten of hearts.
As you advance in the game, you will be given the option to start building collections. These collections ultimately build to give you a bonus of health, energy, defense, attack, etc. The heart flush collection which the Mafia Wars ten of hearts is part of is just one of the many sets you can acquire. If you complete this entire set, you get a +5 health bonus when you add the item to your vault. You can see what bonuses you've acquired by clicking the vault button.
The diamond flush, sculptures collection, and poker chips are also some other sets you can get in this game. If you attain all these bonuses, you will have a leg up when doing jobs and the whole process of getting rare items will be a lot easier. The higher you advance in each tier, the better each boost will be.
In order to obtain the Mafia Wars ten of hearts, you need to complete individual jobs in that job tier - the Associate tier, in this case. You can see what set items you've gotten in the inventory tab. When you have all 7 pieces of a collection, you can claim the set boost. Note that these items can also be given as gifts by other players, so having a large and powerful mafia is very important to success in Mafia Wars.

Mafia Wars Illegal Transaction Records: What They Are and Why You Need Them

As you advance in Mafia Wars, you will eventually start needing specific items like concealable cameras, blackmail photos, and illegal transaction records.  These are rare loot items that you can only get in specific ways, but you need them to advance in the game. 


Illegal transaction records are necessary to complete top end jobs in Mafia Wars.  The later stages of the game like Consigliere and Underboss will require you to have this item.  Doing the job "Steal Bank Record" in the Capo level is probably the best way to get Mafia Wars illegal transaction records.  You will have to do this job several times until you get enough records to complete other higher tier jobs. 


Another way to get this item is to have it gifted to you by family members or other people in your mafia.  There will probably be players who have records they don't need.  Make a request and often you will be able to get this item or some of the other rare items like concealable cameras. 


Infrequently, you can also get illegal transaction records during fights against other players.
